Blessed to Be a Blessing

I Am Blessed
I want you to understand something deep today: you are blessed. God didn't just give you a little bit of goodness to get you by—He blessed you richly and completely so that you could go out and be a blessing to others.
That’s not just a nice saying; that’s the Word of God. Look at Genesis 1:28:
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…”—Genesis 1:28 (KJV)
That blessing wasn't a suggestion—it was a command. Be fruitful. Multiply. Have dominion. God didn’t give us His image and breath so we could barely survive. He gave us everything we need to thrive and spread that blessing.
I don’t just mean finances. I mean peace, love, joy, wisdom, understanding, patience, truth—all the things the Spirit produces in us. And when you walk into your workplace, your home, your classroom, or the grocery store—you’re carrying that blessing.
You are a mobile move of God.
You Carry Something Bigger Than You Know
Everywhere you go, there’s someone who needs a touch. Someone who needs truth. You might not even realize the power you hold when you just speak a kind word or stand for what’s right. But trust me—people notice. Because you are carrying Christ.
When you sow seeds of truth—when you speak hope, share peace, or even just listen with patience—you are planting fruit. And that fruit isn’t just for you. It’s for someone else’s nourishment. That’s what it means to be fruitful.
I reminded myself of this the other day: I don’t carry the blessing for me. I carry it for someone else.
Think Like the Kingdom
We’ve got to line up our thoughts with what God says. Proverbs 23:7 tells us:
“As he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
You can have all the potential in the world, but if you think like a failure, you’ll live like one. But when you think like the Kingdom—when you start believing what God says about you—fruit will start growing in your life.
Let me put it plainly: if you’re holding a seed, yes—it’s just a seed. That’s a fact. But the truth is that seed has orchard potential. What looks small can become something mighty when planted in the right soil.
What Are You Reproducing?
God made us in His image. But when we live in sin or fear, we cover up that image. Just like Adam did in the garden—he hid himself with fig leaves. And God asked, “Where are you?” Not because God didn’t know—but because Adam wasn’t where he was supposed to be. He had moved away from the blessing. He was covered in something God didn’t give him.
Sometimes we do that. We cover up our pain, our fear, our failures. But God didn’t call us to hide—He called us to bear fruit. And fruit can’t grow if it’s buried under lies.
The blessing isn’t meant to stop with you. You’re supposed to reproduce. Not just physically—but spiritually. You’re supposed to plant, multiply, and pass it on.
If You’ve Seen Me…
Jesus said something powerful:
“If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.”—John 14:9
That’s the goal. That someone could look at our lives and say, “I see Jesus in you.”
That’s not arrogance. That’s truth. If Christ lives in us, then we should live like Him, talk like Him, forgive like Him, love like Him. That’s what it means to be blessed in the Kingdom—we become mirrors of God’s heart.
It Starts With a Seed
When I plant a seed, I don’t expect another seed in return. I expect fruit. And not just fruit for me, but enough to feed others. That’s what happens when God blesses you—He puts His Word, His Spirit, His life in you—and He expects you to grow, multiply, and be a blessing.
He gives you the seed. You sow it. And He gives the increase.
Keep Asking the Question
As I get older, I find myself asking: Have I done enough? Have I poured out everything God put in me? Have I encouraged others to pick up the mantle?
Because the blessing can’t end with me. It has to go on. It has to grow. It has to be multiplied.
And I believe this with all my heart: this little church, this small group, this community—we’re part of something bigger than we can imagine. We’re not just here to have services. We’re here to start movements. God will take what we plant and spread it across the city, the state, the country—the world.
You Are Blessed
If nobody’s told you today—let me be the first:You are blessed. You are chosen. You are called.
You’re not just a face in the crowd. You’re a carrier of the blessing of God. So go be a blessing. Sow seed. Bear fruit. Multiply. And don’t ever forget who you are and whose you are.
Because when they see you—really see you—they should see the Father
